What was the highlight of Flushing Meadows Resorts & Playground
Tranquil and beautiful retreat.
The food was amazing. Big portions and it was very tasty. We celebrated my mother-in-law’s birthday there. It was her first time to taste sisig and she enjoyed it so much. The room was very clean and spacious. The pool was huge. The kids enjoyed their time well there. The staff was very nice, kind and approachable. I did not regret booking our stay in this resort.
The beach. It was full of stones.

I love the private beach and they give free pedal boats and kayaks to go and explore for the day amazing :) so much fun not too far from Alona Beach and the food at the restaurant is so tasty - I recommend the bulalo soup. Staff are friendly :)

What was the highlight of Flushing Meadows Resorts & Playground
The resort is very big (a bit too big) and the decor of the rooms and the bathroom is a bit dated but you will hardly spend any time in the rooms. For Philippines, the resort might come across as a bit pricey for what it is but the whole Panglao area is on average more expensive than the rest of Philippines. Saying that I am still glad that we stayed at the resort instead of Alona Beach which was just heaving with people. It's about 150php to get to Alona Beach using a tricycle. The food at the hotel restaurant is also nice. The infinity pool is pretty cool and there is a nice area to hang out by the beach- although you have to order any drinks from the restaurant itself. The staff are super helpful and they arranged a great one day trip for us to visit the local tourist attractions. It's also very close to Bohol Bee Farm that has excellent restaurant and great spa facilities. In hindsight, I would probably have stayed on Bohol Bee Farm instead but if you want a nice pool for your stay then I would go with Flushing meadows. On the whole, its a good base to discover Panglao.
In the evenings, they had horrid bands playing incredibly loud music whilst people were having dinner. Some people really like that but for us it took the joy out of otherwise very nice food.

What was the highlight of Flushing Meadows Resorts & Playground
The room was relatively clean, daily new towels, bed linen. The staff were very nice, helpful, complex as a whole was very nice and maintained. Pool was clean, only the private beach was not the right one - the concrete pier did not allow the right view. We borrowed a scooter and traveled around the other beaches on Panglao. Resort is suitable for those who want to relax and not to be disturbed.
I was surprised by the real state of the room - did not answer the photos on the booking. The rooms definitely do not meet the European 5* standard (at least not the suite). The room was musty - but I rather attach it to the local climate.
